This starter sequence is designed for beginners and for people with mild back issues. We focus on breath, stability and gentle mobility.

Key poses (gentle)
Cat–Cow (marjaryasana/bitilasana)
Gentle flexion and extension for back mobility, in sync with the breath.
Child's pose (balasana)
Restorative pose for relaxation, lengthening the lower back and hips.
Reclining twist
Mild rotation to reduce tension in the lumbar spine.
Your teacher — Sanne
Sanne teaches gentle Hatha and relaxation classes with attention to posture, breath and injury prevention. She guides adjustments for back issues and beginners.
Practice tips for home
- Work in short blocks of 10–20 minutes.
- Use a rolled towel under your knees or neck for extra support.
- Listen to pain signals — if you feel sharp pain, stop and adjust.
